As lead VR Artist I worked with the Unreal Engine, Maya and Substance Designer creating vehicles and environments for car configurators/ Virtual Reality experiences. Planning for VR takes a new way of thinking and many things were learned throughout the project. My responsibilities were to manage and oversee the 3D models and textures of the cars and environments as well as creating blueprints and programming for the features and for the navigation and actions of the user.

Worked as the Senior Lead Designer to design templates and page designs and then create a printed 700 page catalog for Kroll International’s top sellers and new product for selling to police, military and security organizations. Made to look like a magazine by using Adobe’s InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.

As one of the lead level artist and environment artist I was responsible for creating a multiplayer map and a large amount of 3D art assets for the prototype level for a game called “World at War: Operation Somalia.” It is a first person shooter loosely based on Project Reality (http://realitymod.com).
We used Unreal 4 to make a game inspired by the movie “Black Hawk Down”. Working with about 30 people collaborating on the game all over the globe I used 3ds Max to make 3d models, buildings and environments, as well as the level designing and I worked on the terrain map.

Working with OnStar, Chevrolet/GM and the Oculus Rift technology. This project was for the 2014 CES in Las Vegas. It was made in Unity. I converted high resolution headlights and taillights into low poly lights on 3 cars and made PBS textures for the headlights and taillights and for the 3 cars normal and reflection maps.

Freelance Contract – Arcade Racing Game

I used 3ds Max and CryEngine to make 3D models and build a track for a golf cart racing game. In this project the arcade video game made it into a golf open. For a racing part of the game there were obstacles like pot holes in the carts path, broken bridges plus shortcuts to pass the other 2nd player in their golf cart.

During my 2011 Summer internship at IE Effects (Traverse City) we worked on the 3D conversions for such movies as, Gulliver’s Travels, Green Lantern, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. My job is to draw the Roto masks and the conversion to create the 3D effect.
