He first became interested in Architecture and Engineering and then became a multi-media artist later became an Environment Artist.

He is a enthusiastic Artist who lives for creating computer generated video game art, and loves working with amazing people and solving problems by thinking outside the box.

As lead VR Artist I worked with the Unreal Engine, Maya and Substance Designer creating vehicles and environments for car configurators/ Virtual Reality experiences. Planning for VR takes a new way of thinking and many things were learned throughout the project. My responsibilities were to manage and oversee the 3D models and textures of the cars and environments as well as creating blueprints and programming for the features and for the navigation and actions of the user.

As an instructor with the industries leaders in online tutorials I have a current tutorial project on a course called “Modeling and Texturing a Next-Gen Building for Games in 3DS Max.” I show a unique workflow for building modular pieces of a building facade and use 3ds Max, Quixel, and Photoshop to create Next-Gen PBR textures and then present the final building in Marmoset Toolbag.

I volunteer at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) as a part of the biggest and best gaming convention for the gaming industry in the world every year since I joined the group in 2013.

Worked as the Senior Lead Designer to design templates and page designs and then create a printed 700 page catalog for Kroll International’s top sellers and new product for selling to police, military and security organizations. Made to look like a magazine by using Adobe’s InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.

August 2014 – July 2015 – Weekend Virtual Office

As one of the lead level artist and environment artist I was responsible for creating a multiplayer map and a large amount of 3D art assets for the prototype level for a game called “World at War: Operation Somalia.” It is a first person shooter loosely based on Project Reality (http://realitymod.com).

We used Unreal 4 to make a game inspired by the movie “Black Hawk Down”.  Working with about 30 people collaborating on the game all over the globe I used 3ds Max to make 3d models, buildings and environments, as well as the level designing and I worked on the terrain map.

Frog Invasion Games

Created all aspects from art and design and game play to testing for 3 mobile games on the Android marketplace. This started out as an indie game company that I founded in 2014 called Frog Invasion Games.  I am the Lead Artist/Game Designer. We do 2D and 3D games, like side scrollers, puzzle games and point and shoot games.

Working with OnStar, Chevrolet/GM and the Oculus Rift technology. This project was for the 2014 CES in Las Vegas. It was made in Unity. I converted high resolution headlights and taillights into low poly lights on 3 cars and made PBS textures for the headlights and taillights and for the 3 cars normal and reflection maps.

I used Illustrator to design and rapidly produce pages for instruction manuals for vehicles in Afghanistan. I designed several template pages to use with 2 different languages for the manual. Every page had graphics of parts and instructions to show visually with pictures mostly for the best communication.

Freelance Contract – Arcade Racing Game
June 2013 – July 2013 (2 months)Clinton Township, MI

I used 3ds Max and CryEngine to make 3D models and build a track for a golf cart racing game. In this project the arcade video game made it into a golf open. For a racing part of the game there were obstacles like pot holes in the carts path, broken bridges plus shortcuts to pass the other 2nd player in their golf cart.

During my 2011 Summer internship at IE Effects (Traverse City) we worked on the 3D conversions for such movies as, Gulliver’s Travels, Green Lantern, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. My job is to draw the Roto masks and the conversion to create the 3D effect.
